Family Fun: Old Sacramento - Historic neighborhood with cobblestone streets and wooden boardwalks for river strolls, unique shopping, and dining. North Lake Tahoe is about a 2-hour drive from The Element Hotel. It makes for a perfect day trip or even weekend getaway! It is a beautiful California landmark to visit in the Springtime. If it's warm enough, you can rent boats, paddleboards, kayaks, or tubes. There are endless beaches, roads, and hikes around the lake for enjoying the gorgeous views!
The heart of the Bay Area is located around 2-hours from the Element Hotel! There is so much to explore from the gorgeous coastline, the bustling downtown neighborhoods, and the famous landmarks scattered throughout the area. This trip makes for a perfect weekend getaway as well!
Without making the 6 hour trek to Redwood National Park, you can still see the amazing Coastal Sequoia Redwoods in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, North of San Francisco. This park offers many hiking trails and is a perfect stop if you're already heading to the Bay Area!
If you're feeling extra adventurous, one of the most jaw-dropping National Parks in the world is located 3 hours away from the Hard Rock Hotel. Jake and I were taken back by how beautiful it was the first time we went. Truly a must-visit place for anyone!
