Friday 10/9: More information to come, but we are planning for the Welcome Party to be downtown, so it should be within walking distance or a bus ride from most hotels. If you are staying farther out of town, please let us know and we will help coordinate transportation. Saturday 10/10: Shuttles will be provided to and from the ranch on Saturday. More information to come on timing and pickup/drop-off locations. Parking is very limited at the ranch, so if you need accessibility parking, please contact us and we will help coordinate.
The wedding is Formal — think cocktail to black-tie optional with a mountain-chic twist for Steamboat Springs. For women: cocktail dresses, long dresses, or elegant separates—layers are smart for cooler evenings. For men: suits or tuxedos encouraged; a dark suit with a tie or bow tie will fit right in.
Yes, we are planning on a Welcome Party on Friday, 10/9. More information to come on location and timing.
Both events will be held at the Lucky 8 Ranch in Oak Creek, Colorado—shuttles will be provided to and from the ranch.

Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony will take place outside. Please plan accordingly depending on the weather that day. The reception will take under a covered tent with heat if needed.
As much as we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception are adults-only. We appreciate your understanding!
Your presence is the greatest gift. If you’d like to give something, we will have a registry linked on the Home page.
October is one of the best Fall months in Colorado. The days are usually warm & sunny with highs in the 50's/60's, and the nights are cool & crisp with lows dipping into the 30's. That being said, weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so definitely bring some warm clothes & rain jackets just in case. Specifically for the wedding ceremony, which will be outside so a jacket/shawl would be advised! The elevation in Steamboat Springs is just sky of 7k feet about sea level. We definitely recommend drinking lots of water and bringing chapstick if you are coming from lower elevations.
