Beneath the Hawaiian sunset in Turtle Bay, Oahu, Johnny and I started a new chapter of our lives with a moment we’ll cherish forever. What started as an exciting trip to visit his sister Jenni quickly became an unforgettable engagement celebration! During our trip, we decided to enjoy a beautiful one night staycation at the Ritz Carlton in Turtle Bay. As we arrived, we were welcomed with leis, warm alohas, and immediately felt how special Hawaii was - but little did I know how special it would be for the rest of our lives. After a day spent exploring the beaches and enjoying the resort, we headed out to watch the sunset before our dinner reservation. As the sun began to set, we found someone to take a photo of us to capture a memory from the day. During this perfect moment, Johnny dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said yes without hesitation! Overwhelmed by the happiness of the moment and the love we’ve shared, Johnny and I enjoyed the rest of our night reminiscing on memories and looking forward to our future together.
