Our Story
Mallory and Mitchell’s love story began at Buena Vista University in 2022, where their shared love for basketball brought them together. Mitchell knew of Mallory long before she really knew him, but one fall evening changed everything. Early in the school year, Mitchell noticed Mallory at a party and offered to walk her back to her suite that night. What started as a kind gesture turned into an all-night conversation filled with laughter and stories—and from that night on, they never went a day without talking.
Their first date was December 3, 2022, when Mitchell planned a weekend in Omaha full of ice skating, dinner at The Monarch, ice cream, and looking at Christmas lights downtown. That night, he officially asked Mallory to be his girlfriend.
The last four years together have been the best years of their lives - filled with countless adventures around the world and so much more in between. We’re so grateful for our loved ones and can’t wait to celebrate with you in Des Moines!
