What is the dress code?
Answer
Our venue is classy! Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Please do not wear white :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to give yourself enough time to be seated!

When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know your plans by July 1! We hope we get to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children included on your invite. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Where do I park?
Answer
There are 85 spots at the Monroe with additional parking in a nearby lot. The Hampton Inn West Des Moines Lake Drive provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting! The reception to follow will take place indoors, but there will be plenty of outdoor seating if guests need a breath of fresh air!

What are my reception dinner options?
Answer
We will have two food trucks, Magoo's and Flame Catering. Magoo's is pizza, and Flame is tacos! When you RSVP, you will select the one you want, and you will later receive a meal ticket for that truck.

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?
Answer
We have blocked off hotel rooms at the Hampton Inn West Des Moines Lake Drive. Please use this link: https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/brooks-mccall-wedding/ OR call 515-223-4700 ahead and reserve your room under the Brooks-McCall Wedding for the discounted rate. We have rooms blocked off for Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th. Hotel rates in the Des Moines area may be higher due to the State Fair and Junior Olympics being on the same weekend.

Yes! The Hampton Inn West Des Moines Lake Drive provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the Monroe.

Answer
