Where do I fly in?

Answer

The easiest place to fly in to is Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell, Montana. Kalispell is about 30 minutes from Bigfork. For guests staying at the Lodge, transportation will be provided from the airpot. Missoula International Airport is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bigfork.

Where should I hang my hat?

Answer

We choose to get married at the Flathead Lake Lodge so that our guests could stay on the property with us. We have the entire property reserved for the weekend. Guests staying at the Lodge can enjoy the many activities available on site and no need to worry about transportation as all events will take place on the property. While it is not required to stay at Lodge, we think you will love it and will allow us to spend more time with you while you're in town!

How much does it cost to stay at the Lodge?

Answer

The all inclusive room rates include all activities on site, lodging, transportation and food. Double Occupancy (2 people per room) is $175 per person per night. Quad Occupancy (4 people per room) is $155 per person per night. See the Lodging tab for more information.

What about food and bev while staying at the lodge?

Answer

While we will take care of you during all wedding events (see Schedule tab), the Lodge will make you feel at home throughout the rest of the weekend. They have a full kitchen staff that will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks every day. The Lodge also has a BYOB Saloon that’s always open as a gathering place. The Lodge has spirits, beer and wine available for purchase, but we recommend stopping in town to pick up any extra beverages you’d like before arriving.

What's the weather like?

Answer

Fall in Montana is beautiful, but it does get chilly in the evenings, so plan on bringing warm layers as many events will be outdoors. Average daytime temperatures in early October are in the 60s with temps dropping into the 40s at night.
