Matron of Honor
Olivia met Gina at UW-Eau Claire in 2012. Her major was Gina’s minor, so it meant they had plenty of classes together…at one point seeing each other every day! After college, they stayed close - creating many memories both around Wisconsin and abroad. One of their favorite adventures together is a weekend they spent exploring different parts of London. The two share a love of new experiences, long conversations, and finding really good food. Olivia was honored to stand by Gina’s side in 2022, and couldn’t imagine her day without Gina this fall!
Avari Miller
Maid of Honor
Olivia met Avari in a summer dance & arts program back around 2006. From there they found out that they were actually neighbors! Olivia spent many nights walking through the trees to hang out with Avari. The two have gone through so many life experiences together, and appreciate both the simple joy of grabbing ice cream to pushing themselves to try to climb the tallest mountain in the UK (note: they made it halfway). They share a unique bond as they are both only children, and Avari can always be counted on for her honesty and wit. Olivia is so thankful to have Avari by her side as she enters this new chapter of life!
Andrea Ellis
Bridesmaid
Olivia met Andrea in 2015 through a group of mutual friends. The two stayed connected over the years, even with living over 4 hours apart. They share a love of musicals, cats, and concert experiences (like seeing Ed Sheeran twice). Olivia was there from the beginning of Andrea’s journey with her now husband, and was thrilled to stand by her side on their big day in July 2024. Now Olivia is so thankful to have Andrea return the favor!
Chris Goebl
Best Man
Matt met Chris around 2017 while they were bunk mates at Fort McCoy. At the time, they were both in the 395th Ordinance unit in the Army Reserve. Since then, Matt and Chris have spent many hours working on house projects, especially on Chris’s first house in West Allis. They also share a passion for Harley bikes and going on rides together. Matt was there when Chris first connected with his now wife, and stood by his side in 2022. Now Matt is honored to have Chris support him on his own big day!
Shane Beyer
Groomsman
Shane is one of Matt’s older brothers, so you could say they go way back. The two share a love of turkey hunting and clay shooting, especially with their dad and Shane’s two boys. The two have supported each other through many house projects over the years, and each helped to build their family cabin near Eagle River. Matt appreciates that Shane is always reliable, and will tell you what you need to hear - even if it’s not what you WANT to hear. Matt was a groomsman for Shane in 2010, and is thankful to have him stand by his side this September!
Scott Marohl
Groomsman
Matt met Scott the way that most young boys do - through a playground scuffle in the 6th grade. The two like to spend time watching sports, and both have a love for racing. Matt spent a lot of time with Scott’s family growing up, and would camp with them too. Matt stood by Scott’s side when he married Tracy back in 2011, and even had to give his speech twice due to the number of people at their wedding. He couldn’t imagine his big day without Scott’s support!
