I met Mazon in 7th grade at Horizon middle school. We played soccer fall quarter together that year. We had band class together and then would meet up for ping pong at lunch. That continued into our long friendship ever since. We went on to be teammates and close friends throughout middle and highschool. In high school Mazon did running start but would make it back on campus for lunch when he could. He is a very thoughtful, caring, and intentional man. We had many impactful soccer seasons which really formed our friendship.

I am one of Katlyn's many sisters. Over the years growing up together these last 5 years we’ve gotten much more close than we had been before. We have been through some wild times together, good and bad. We've had so many adventures together, nights we used to sneak out our window in the room we shared for a time just to do the most random things, jumping in the ocean on the first day of summer every year, staying up past 3am watching random tv shows and so much more. My all time favorite memory with Katlyn is when me and her went on our RYS convention trip, we grew in Christ together, Katlyn introduced me to new friends and experiences, we shared secrets with each other and since then we've gotten closer and closer everyday. Love Katlyn and Mazon so much. I am so grateful to be a part of their special day.

I have to say my favorite memory with Katlyn is when we were going to get up super early to watch the sunrise at the river (we both slept in) and she called me just before sunrise. I rushed to get ready, picked her up and we still went to the river, then down to Sedro-Woolley, took a nap in my car together, and did what ever felt right for the rest of the day. The carelessness, the willingness to let the day bring us along to where ever, singing our hearts out to music and always cracking jokes. That is a day I still think about and look at our pictures from it. We had many days like that but that day trip in particular sticks with me. I will go on any adventure, with a destination or without just as long as she’s with me.

I met Katlyn in 8th grade when I transferred to Lynden Academy, where we had a few classes together. She was and has always been super friendly and easy to get along with. We then became good friends in high school and now couldn’t see my life without her in it. My favorite memory is probably all of summer 2020. We went on fun adventures like going to the beach or going up to Artist Point or riding the four wheeler around.

Some of my fondest memories of Mazon and I are jamming to the same 5 Bruno mars songs while we sing completely off pitch when there was better things we could have been doing with our time.

I'm Lillyann the youngest sister. I have a lot of memories with Katlyn, but my absolute favorite was when there was an Aurora Borealis. I got home and asked where Katlyn was because I knew she was gonna be watching it. I was told she was in the back yard so I rushed outside, I didn't even have shoes on. So Katlyn and I started to take pictures of the Aurora and I said that we should take photos of us in front of the sky. We started to take pictures of us and when we were taking one of the pictures we were standing with our arms around each other and we looked at the sky, the sky was so pretty and then all of the sudden we saw a shooting star. We both were amazed and happy, I'm so glad I got to experience that memory with Katlyn and I can't wait to see her get married to Mazon. Love you guys so much.

My favorite memories are when we would travel with Mazon’s family to soccer tournaments and games. Also when we would stay up late playing video games and messing around when we stayed over at each other’s houses.

I'm Katlyn's oldest sister. I have known her her entire life and even though I wasn't too fond of the idea of siblings growing up, I ended up with 4 of the best. Katlyn and I are complete opposites which has made growing up rather challenging to say the least. However, we survived most of our lives sharing a room without killing one another. With that being said, looking back I am thankful for those sleepless nights when we would stay up literally all night playing SkipBo, Uno, Golf, Garbage and other card and board games. Funny how we could go all day annoyed and not talk to each other but once the goodnights had been said and the lights went out, it was laughter and games. I can't wait to be standing up next to you while you get to marry your best friend! Love you Katlyn!
