The couple got a job at Tractor Supply. Mazon started about a month before Katlyn. On Katlyn’s first day she was doing training in the break room. Mazon came in to clock back in from his lunch. He went to log in on the computer but after many attempts he couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t log in. Katlyn told him the caps lock was on and Mazon got a little flustered. Then he tried again but he didn’t notice that when he turned the caps lock off he pushed the button twice. Once again he couldn’t log in. Katlyn reached over and pushed the button for him, leaving Mazon pretty embarassed. After that they got to know each other through working together and eventually leading to a first date on a hike to Raptor Ridge.

Katlyn had wanted professional couples pictures just to have for majority of their relationship. Mazon brought up how they had never gotten them done. He said he felt bad about it and that they should get them done. Mazon took care of scheduling a day and time with a photographer up at Artist Point to get them taken. When the day came and the couple was about to head to the mountain Mazon put a backpack in the backseat. Katlyn asked him why they needed a backpack for pictures and he said it was for sweatshirts and snacks. Little did Katlyn know Mazon had the ring box and a white dress he had got her also in the bag. When they started getting to their destination Mazon was worried about how foggy and cloudy it was, Katlyn was confused by his concern because he isn’t normally a fan of pictures. They went through most of the session until they got to Picture Lake. The photographer took “test photos” and then had Katlyn go change into her picture shoes. Thats when he pulled Mazon aside to hand off the ring box. Mazon proposed to Katlyn on a dock with the lake and mountains in the background.
