We met online and started chatting. it was all talk at first as Ben was still in New Mexico, finishing his service in the United States Air Force. It was about a month before we finally got to meet. Little did we know, August 9th, 2014 would change our lives forever. On our first date, we went to the Cheesecake Factory in Victoria Gardens and for dessert, he insisted on red velvet cheesecake. Who turns down cheesecake anyway?! After that, we have grown together with our love of animals, dogs mostly, movies, Marvel, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars of course.

This was the day.... we made our first steps into Star Wars Land (Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland). It was an exciting day as we got to explore this new land together! We got in line to take photos in front the of A-wing and X-wing resistance fighter planes. Of course, I had a feeling the proposal was coming. In front of the A-wing, he got down on one knee and the rest of the day was just a magical Disney day!
