Maid of Honor
Bianca is my older, sometimes wiser, sister. I was also the Maid of Honor for her wedding! Choosing Bianca as my maid of honor was the second easiest decision I had to make. Second only to saying "YES" to the groom! I can't wait to see her in full MOH mode!
Bridesmaid
CarolAnn is my cousin, and mother of the two cutest flower girls! She may be technically "married in" but she has felt like part of our family since the day I met her! Also, we now get to have mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving, thanks to her, so, really we are the real winners!
Bridesmaid
Milagro has been one of my best friends since 6th grade camp! She has been such a huge presence in my life, for so much of my life, there is no way my wedding day would be complete without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Emily has been one of my best friends for almost 20 years! We have shared countless memories from elementary school talent shows to the birth of her babies, and now we add my wedding to the mix!
Bridesmaid
Leslie is the free spirit of the group (just look at that photo)! She is the first one I call when I need "advice" but don't actually want the advice. Is there really anyone better to have standing next to you on your wedding day...?
Bridesmaid
Serena is one of James' older sisters. We have developed a beautiful friendship and sisterhood, and I am honored to have her standing next to me on our day!
Bridesmaid
Asia is also James' older sister. She has treated me like her sister since the day I met her! Her beautiful energy is a necessity on our big day.
Bridesmaid
Emily came into our lives via Antonio but has quickly become a close friend! Her positive vibes always brighten up the room and I am sure our wedding day will be no different.
Best Man
Sammy is Mexican and Serbian. That means he's dangerous... Dude knows how to roast a lamb and cook up the carne asada. He's been my best friend as long as I can remember, and, was always my go to wingman before I met Gaby! When I first moved out of my parents crib, Sammy and I split an apartment together. It was a little tight, but we were the first ones out of our friend group to move out, so our crib became the place to be. It will definitely go down as two of the best years of my life. I'm glad the homie accepted the task of being my best man. Take is easy on him if his speech is a little rough though.
Groomsman
Marcus has been one of the main homies for a minute now. I knew when I watched this dude break his nose diving during a game of kickball, that I needed that type of hustle around me. Now this man is never on time for anything, and somehow has a full time job where he only works 12 hours a week. Random fact: This man was the first to catch a ride in the corolla "legally".
Groomsman
I didn't even have a choice when I became friends with this dude. He hit me on Facebook the night before school and said "We're going to sit at the same lunch table tomorrow..." I had no choice. Been my homie ever since. Random fact: Him and Marcus started boxing in my backseat and I had to pull over in the middle of the road and drag them out the car. That's true friendship.
Groomsman
When I met this man he was introduced to me as "Paco", so I still can't call him anything different. He didn't tell me his real name was Antonio until 6 months after, so it's technically his fault. Dude was hangin with us at all time and never said a word. I wasn't even sure if he had a last name. He's only two years younger than me, but I'll always claim him as my youngin. He's also Gaby's cousin so after the wedding he'll be family for real.
Groomsman
To be honest this is probably the goofiest dude on this list. All I can say is he's been there since day one and he's definitely going to be himself. Just wait until the music comes on... you're going to see the real Charles come out. I know he going to be acting up at the wedding because black people love hyping up an uncoordinated white dude, feeling himself on the dance floor. Keep your eyes open for this man because he will be the highlight of the day.
Groomsman
Brian was the first friend I made when I moved to NWI, so we go way back. He's also the main reason I started liking college basketball because we'd go to a bunch of Purdue games. Now my guy is living it up in Florida while the rest of us are cold. Watch out for him too. As you can see from this picture, that smirk is deadly.
Groomsman
Bobbert's been the homie since he walked in the door at college. Dude walked in with a goatee looking like he was 45, and asked me if I heard the new Kendrick Album. I knew he was about to be my homie. He also showed me that there was a whole lot of black people in Delaware. It makes sense when I think about how close Maryland is but I wouldn't have guessed it. It's crazy because he's getting married the weekend before us. It's going to be a busy month of October for both of us.
Groomsman
Chris was my roommate for 4 years in college, so you know we got into some mess. I watched this dude get our house into a complete brawl outside the gas station and then leave... Luckily he was grabbing the car so we could get out in time, but we were still mad because nobody had time to grab their snacks in the commotion. He did end up getting us all food somewhere else after, so I knew he was good people. Random fact: I watched this man miss 5 straight layups in a pick up basketball game and he's 6'5.
Groomsman
The first time I met this man he volunteered me to cook a whole breakfast for 15 people, so I knew he was outgoing. He kept his word and bought $100 worth of groceries, and made me cook it all. He then pulled up to our going away party, when we moved to Milwaukee, and started handing out shots so I knew he was the homie then. Watch out if you try to take a picture with him, dude will not hesitate to go full model status on you.
Groomsman
Colin is the father of my nephews, Rowan and Reece, and married to the Maid of Honor, my soon to be sister-in-law Bianca. So, after the wedding, he'll really be family. Dude risks his life every time he goes to work as a firefighter/paramedic so, he's gansta in my book. Random fact: We really first met about 12 years ago at Diamond Kings when I would go there for hitting league.
Groomsman
" Aye y'all Omar Coming!" This dude is the most chill person I know. He was one of the only reasons I enjoyed working at Cleveland Cliffs. Everybody thought he was quiet, but he'd be in the office cooking everybody. Now, he's obviously one of my good friends. Random fact: I'm pretty sure the first double date I went on with Gaby, was with Omar and his girl Soph.
