We're getting married!

To provide some backstory... Antonio is 1. Gaby's cousin and 2. James' friend of 10 years. We met at a joint birthday party for Antonio and Tia Rosa. While we both noticed each other early on in the evening, James was initially hesitant. I brought my 2 year old nephew with me to the party and James assumed he was my son! As you can probably guess, James was not on the hunt for a 2 year old son to raise! So, Tia Rosa stepped in the make SURE it was known the Rowan was my nephew, not my son. The next day, James texted Antonio to ask "Is family off limits?"... And here we are!

In March of 2022 James was offered a job with a steel company that would have required him to relocate. Though we had only been dating for about 5 months at the time, we both knew that moving together to Wisconsin was a commitment we wanted to make. 2 years, 2 dogs and 1 house later, Wisconsin was such a special place to us and our journey as a couple.

James proposed in front of some of our closest family and friends at a local restaurant. It was a beautiful surprise, especially for Abuela, despite James' dad accidentally dropping numerous "hints" the week leading up to the event!

We didn't think that planning this wedding would keep us busy enough for the year, so we added in another move! All jokes aside, we recently made another move, to Michigan, and are excited to see what this new chapter has in store for us.
