Flight
Although it's technically an "international" airport, the Medford airport is pretty small and the only airport in any real proximity to our venue. The Medford airport is less than 4 miles (10 minutes) from our wedding venue and an easy Uber/Lyft to get there. They do also have a variety of rental vehicles available from MFR, but keep reading below for some other transportation options, too.
Travel Note
If you wanted to see more of Oregon and make a fun road trip of it, you could look at flights into Eugene (2.5 hour) or Portland (5 hour). If you were to fly into the Portland or Seattle, Amtrak runs a line down to Eugene from which you could get a rental car. Sarah's done this trip and had a lot of fun... you get to see a lot of scenery!
Travel Note
Although our wedding is on the outskirts of Central Point, the Rogue Valley has a lot of options for housing. Especially if you're looking at bed-and-breakfast type stays, Airbnb or VRBO's, we'd recommend looking into Jacksonville (10 minutes) or Ashland (25 minutes) for a romantic and eclectic feel - these are both historical districts with a cute, cultural flavor. Medford, Phoenix and Talent would also be easily accessible options via the interstate (10-20 minutes). White City, Gold Hill or Rogue River would be doable options, too. If you're looking to maximize convenience in terms of proximity to the airport and venue, check out the Courtyard ($102) or Springhill Suites ($119) by Marriott, Candlewood Suites ($117), MyPlace Hotel ($86) or Super8 by Wyndham ($65) which are all within a few minutes of the airport and less than 10 minutes from the venue! You can also checkout our Zola Hotel Planner link below for discounted rates.
Travel Note
Uber & Lyft are abundantly available in this area, so you could definitely get away without a rental car! (The venue is less than 10 minutes from the airport). Turo is also available and usually a cheaper option than a traditional rental company.
