No, we are not having a dress code. We request that you dress however you will be most comfortable. There will be many kids at the event (we have about an equal number of children and adults attending), and this event is going to be outside- so dress your kiddos in clothes that you won't mind letting them play in (there's a playground right next to the pavilion!).
Most definitely. According to our guest list here on Zola, we are having an equal number of children and adults at our wedding- so this event will be very kid-friendly. There is a playground at the venue, we plan to have games for the kids, there will be wedding favors specifically for children, a quiet breastfeeding area, and food choices appropriate for little picky eaters. Teenagers are also welcome to bring a plus one, if they'd like. Please notify us in advance if you think your teenager would like to bring a plus one
We are registered here on Zola, at Amazon, and at Walmart.
Unfortunately, no- there is no transportation from the hotel to the ceremony. If you are flying into Quincy, please reach out to us and we will make sure you have a ride to and from the ceremony!
Yes, there is a large parking lot next to the State Park pavilion that we are using as our venue.
The ceremony will start at 11:00 AM. So if you are on Dawn's side of the family- you'll probably show up at 10:15. And if you're on Rodney's side of the family- you'll probably arrive at 11:05. But the best time to show up would probably be around 10:40.
We will have a wide variety of food options in a buffet style for our guests with options for people with food allergies, religious dietary restrictions, and children who are picky eaters!
We would appreciate an RSVP by September 1st, but we understand if that doesn't happen. The main reason we'll need you to reach out early is if you are flying into Quincy and staying overnight. We want to make sure we have transportation arranged for you, so you can comfortably attend our event!
