We're Tying the Knot!

We met while working at the movie theater in Marley Station Mall. Rob was 18, ushering guests to their seats and sweeping up popcorn after each day’s showings. Susan was 20, tucked into the box office selling tickets. Our shifts were filled with stale popcorn, long hours, dazzling premieres, and the wonderfully odd assortment of people who wandered through. Rob liked Susan from the start, but she was in a serious relationship, so he kept that quiet and life moved on. Years became decades. We built our own lives, chased dreams, and weathered all the twists and turns that time brings. After our marriages ended, we both swore we’d never walk down the aisle again. (But Robert never forgot about Susan…) And then, as fate would have it, our paths crossed again. This time, the timing was perfect. The connection was still there—familiar, effortless, and somehow even stronger. What began as a quiet crush so many years ago grew into something lasting, something real.
