FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible, but no later than October 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating starts at 4:30PM. Please be seated before 5 so that we can start the ceremony on time!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If we included your partner on the invitation or addressed to "Your Name + Guest," feel free! Our space is limited, so we really can't accommodate last-minute additions.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress colorfully! Tyler's wearing a full custom suit, May will be in a poofy dress, bride-style, so cocktail attire all the way to semi-formal would probably be most comfortable. Probably no one will be in jorts, but if you are Tobias from Arrested Development, we understand. Probably no one will be in coat tails and white gloves, but if you're one who likes to stand out of the crowd and make the scene, the couple will not be offended by your most Met Gala-worthy attire. Go ham.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

I think the only child we're planning on having there will be Tyler's niece, as she's in the wedding. We'd prefer if all of our friends and leave their little tinies with someone who loves them and have a night out to have a drink and a dance and not worry about a schedule for once. If you're having trouble finding baby accommodations, let May or Mary Vassar know! We'd rather have you there than not at all.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No thank you! We're paying Mark Taylor Media a good money to get all the pictures we need. We'd prefer if you'd turn your phone off or on silent during the ceremony so that we can have no distractions for our very distractible bride.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The parking deck behind the venue is free for attendees. If you're on Prince, passing the venue on your right, take the first right after Prince Market and Blum's Nail Bar. The parking deck is on the right.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We're making sure to accommodate our gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan friends as much as possible, as well as our peanut and fruit allergy friends. We'll have something for everyone, and if you have questions, you're welcome to ask the catering staff.
