Travel Note
All foreign nationals entering Israel must isolate. However length of isolation is dependent on which country you're departing from (see next note on "Traffic Light Model") and vaccination status: - If you received the final dose/booster of the vaccine within 6 months prior to arriving in Israel, you will only be required to isolate for 24hrs. You may shorten this even further by completing a serological test once you land in Israel- this test is available at the airport and can be scheduled in advance (more on this under the "COVID Travel Guidelines" tab). - If you are unvaccinated or a non-infected traveler, regardless of age, you must complete a full 14 day isolation in Israel.
Travel Note
Each country is on a list: red (highest risk), orange (at risk), or yellow (low risk). The "color" of the country you're departing from might affect the length of your required isolation. Please check the link to see which color your country of departure is.
Travel Note
Friday night->Saturday night is the Sabbath and as such, public transport, and some museums, attractions and restaurants might be closed... PLEASE CHECK AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY! -This has a wide spectrum- parts of Jerusalem might shut down for a restful atmosphere whereas Tel Aviv continues buzzing.... -Hours should be checked but a good rule of thumb is early afternoon Friday-> 1 hour post sundown Saturday places might be closed -This also applies for the required COVID checks to clear quarantine after you land in Israel. Our advice would be not to land on Friday/Saturday as COVID test results might be delayed until after the Sabbath
