Question

Um.... COVID?

Answer

Yes we know that planning for travel and attendance can be quite challenging and unpredictable. We're trying to stay on top of the restrictions (with all of the nuances) with entering, staying and leaving (if that's in your plans?) and are posting the latest information (we're aware of) in the "Travel" section as notices. Please do let us know if you've found other guidances so we can share appropriately. One of the things that impressed us with the Luca venue (out of the 13 venues we saw) was its attention to detail including the safety restrictions. We had the venue's guarantee of the strictest abidance by the COVID restrictions and standards.

Question

How safe is Israel?

Answer

Israel appears quite often in the news, painting a picture of a war-torn, unstable land. While there are certain precautions and realities to face, safety is very much front and center. Israelis manage to turn the best out of the imminent threats, approaching it with the mentality that life goes on with great energy and vibes of survival, very much enjoying the moment and building for a brighter future. We encourage you to tune out of some of the fear mongering and experience Israel for yourself, enjoying its many beauties in a smart and safe way. We are of course here for you and more than happy to address any questions/concerns you might have!

Question

We can't travel, now what?

Answer

We're holding you to a raincheck. Well... more like a suncheck considering the climate of our newly adopted homeland :) But in the meantime, please stay tuned for a link to our Zoom wedding so we maybe can give you a glimpse of the Israeli backdrop through our nuptial lens.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

As long as you're there and happy :) And if other people make you equally happy, that makes us happy as well! Just please let us know in the RSVP.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

You are (or soon will be) in Israel.... relax! No need for a suit, leave that to the bride and groom ;) For gents: button-downs with jeans and for the ladies: whatever you feel most comfortable and beautiful in... bottom line, whatever you'll be most sabbaba dancing in, flies :)

Question

Is there transportation to/from the event?

Answer

Please let us know if you're interested in transport to/from the event so we can attempt to arrange accordingly!

Question

Travel, wedding... what else?

Answer

We truly are grateful for you considering making it over. Realize this is a lot to travel, let alone into a land seemingly so foreign. We hope (and somewhat suspect) Israel wins you over. We'd love to meet up and explore together but realize opportunities may be limited for various reasons. Do stay tuned for potential other events where we hope to get together in a more informal setting and unwind in the Israeli air together.
