Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)

AUS airport is the only one in Austin and flys all major carriers. The airport is about 15-20 minutes to downtown. Getting an Uber or Lyft here is very easy. *Please note, if you are flying Frontier or Allegiant Airlines you will be at the South Terminal (1 mile from main terminal). This should not be of concern on arrival (still Uber/Lyft access and shuttles to rental cars), just note this for when leaving Austin as that is where you will need to return in order to leave.

This hotel is 4 blocks, less than 10 minute walk, from the Allan House (the Saturday evening wedding venue). Tucked away in a far more quiet section of the city, somewhat of a business or financial district, this is a great option for those looking for convenience and don't desire to stay in a bustling area.

The LINE Austin

The LINE Hotel sits right downtown on Town Lake offering amazing views of the city and the water. Also for anyone with interest in the Bat Bridge this is very accessible from the hotel (even with option to see migration from the hotel roof). This is a great location, being walking distance to many restaurants and bars downtown. This would be a short walk to the Welcome party on Friday night.

citizenM Austin Downtown hotel

CitizenM is a growing European hotel chain known for no frills, well-priced accommodations. This hotel is in an excellent location, one direction they are a block away from congress avenue and the other direction is West 6th which has many great bars. Also, would be a short walk to the Welcome party on Friday night from this hotel.

Airbnb offers some great options around Austin. Airbnb may also be a better choice if you're traveling with a large group as you can find accommodations that are larger than a typical hotel room. We recommend looking at the following areas: West End, Clarksville, Downtown: These are closest to the venue and have some great restaurants and shopping East Austin: This area has arguably the best night life in Austin, crowded with bars and restaurants predominantly along East 5th - 7th street (East of I-35) Barton Springs/Zilker: This area has the most outdoor elements intertwined in the city, right along Lady Bird Lake and Zilker park

Transportation

All wedding weekend activities will be in downtown Austin. If you are traveling in from out-of-town and do not have a car, ubering around town should be sufficient. No need to rent a car unless you prefer to do so!
