The Rathskeller Biergarten is one of our favorite places in the world! In the summer, you can usually find us there on the weekends - listening to live music, sharing a drink in large German Steins, and soaking up the sunshine. It's a place that feels like "us," which is why we chose The Rathskeller for our reception. There may be a cover charge when the music starts, but it's well worth it for relaxing, and enjoying a drink, listening to music, and taking in the summer air between the ceremony and the reception.
Coat Check Coffee is located in the same building as the Rathskeller, just up the stairs. They have fantastic drinks, and is a wonderful place to relax between the ceremony and reception.
Wiseguys is one of our favorite places to grab a craft cocktail. They offer a great set menu along with rotating seasonal drinks we love trying—though Daniel will forever be loyal to the Wooden Nickel. If you are feeling a little munchie, Goodfellas Pizza is connected and is a great place to grab a hot and ready slice. You can bring your drink into the Goodfellas dining area or bring your pizza back into the Wiseguys lounge, making it the perfect two‑for‑one stop. *Kids aren't allowed in Wiseguys, but they are at Goodfellas!
Fat Dan's is a great spot for a dog and a beer Chicago Style! Do yourself a favor and order a "Beef Back" shot. Trust us. It will change your life.

They have amazing concerts outside on the weekends, you bring your own picnic, though they also have refreshments and food available. It's a blast! As soon as I know who is performing Friday night, I'll post it.
