We’ve decided to have a destination wedding in beautiful Cancun, Mexico (Puerto Aventuras) in February of 2027! With our friends and family spread out all over, we thought it would be the perfect way to bring everyone together for a fun, memorable weekend in paradise.
Yes! You’ll need a valid passport to travel to Cancun. If you don’t have one yet, we recommend applying as soon as possible — it typically takes 8–12 weeks to receive your passport. Please double-check that your passport will be valid for at least six months after your travel dates.
If you'd like to bring a plus one but don't have one listed at the time of your RSVP, please reach out to Chloe and Max to see if we have the capacity to accommodate an additional guest. Due to limited seating, we are prioritizing our closest family and friends before extending additional plus ones. However, if space allows, we would be happy to accommodate your guest and will do our best to make it work.
Yes! We love the kids in our lives and hope they can celebrate with us. Please just keep in mind that this will be an open-bar event with music, dancing, and a few adult surprises throughout the night. If you’ll need an early accommodation back to the hotel, we’re happy to coordinate directly with you. We’ll also be sharing kids’ meal options for dinner closer to the date.
Yes! We’re coordinating transportation logistics for all guests and will have everything finalized by fall 2026, once we have a final headcount. We’ll share full details as we get closer to the big day to make sure everyone arrives safely and on time!
Absolutely! The Cancun/Riviera Maya region is known to be safe and is a popular destination for tourists. Having visited the area ourselves, along with other parts of Mexico, we can confidently say that we have had wonderful and secure experiences. We understand that safety is a top priority for everyone, and we respect your decision if you choose not to come due to safety concerns. Your well-being is paramount to us, and we want you to feel comfortable and at ease during our celebration. Please note, extensive research has been done on this venue and area and we have only seen raving reviews, as well as visiting it ourselves. There is security onsite at this private event. Please reach out if you need more information!
While you’re welcome to stay elsewhere (as your presence on our special day means the most to us), we strongly encourage you to stay at the Hard Rock. All wedding transportation departs from there, and our welcome party is hosted on-site—guests staying elsewhere will need to arrange their own transportation and won’t be able to attend the welcome party. Staying at the Hard Rock makes the celebration seamless and ensures you don’t miss any of the fun or amenities!
You MUST use our booking link and travel website, https://www.classicvacations.com/gr/chloeandmax and type in Mexico. This is the only way you will secure our reduced rate and benefits of the block.
We highly recommend using the shuttle services or taxis provided unless you’re very comfortable driving in the area. Parking and local driving can be tricky, and using the shuttles ensures you can relax and enjoy the celebrations without any stress. You can reach out to our travel agent Nicole or the resort to set up transportation to and from the airport.
Beach Formal/ Beach Chic. We invite you to dress in elegant, breathable attire suited for a seaside setting. Think lightweight fabrics like linen or chiffon, flowy dresses, and light-colored suits. Dress shirts with slacks are encouraged. Maxi or midi dresses are perfect. Please note the ceremony will take place on sand, so choose footwear accordingly.
