It all started with a dog, Oakley. When Chloe was working as a property manager, Max was a resident who had just taken in a sick dog that needed a home. Chloe instantly fell in love — first with the dog, of course — and started visiting every day to check in and offer help. Somewhere between daily visits, dog walks, and shared laughter, something special started to grow. Eventually, Chloe adopted the dog… and Max came with him.
