The prettiest drive up the mountain and a flat paved mile walking loop. Get to see all the views without an arduous hike. Its Kaylee's favorite mountain spot.
Go see the buffalo! It's $10 to enter the island I believe. Once you get onto Antelope island we find the most luck turning right toward the campsite to find buffalo. The island is surrounded by "The Great Salt Lake."
Has a great bird aviary in the park you can pay to go inside that we loved. Lots of greenspace to hangout if the weather is nice.
This is super close to our venue and is having their "frightmares" as well as their rides are open on the weekend
This is just one of the many haunted houses in SLC. We personally have never gone, but oddly Salt Lake is known for their haunted houses around Halloween.
A lot of people want to explore different LDS sites in Utah. The tabernacle choir practices on Thursday nights if you're in town, walk through the conference center any day that isn't Sunday, and if you really want to get an idea of their origin... walk through the Mormon history museum in temple square. We also recommend you watch the South Park Episode about Mormons.
A half mile hike up to the peak to see some Utah views. Pair this with walking around the capitol or strolling through Memory Grove Park and it's a great way to see SLC views and spend an afternoon
It's doable if you're here longer. Know that the closest national park is 3.5 hours away. Totally can make a trip out of it and we've done national park visits in a day but sadly they aren't as close as you may think. It's doable, just takes some planning.
