The trip takes you along Chapman’s Peak, one of the most beautiful oceanside drives in the world. Our travel agent (Poppy Blyth) can help arrange your transportation so you can enjoy the journey and the penguins stress-free.

Hop aboard the Franschhoek Wine Tram for one of the most fun (and relaxed) ways to explore the Winelands. Ride through stunning vineyards, sip world-class wines, and leave the driving behind while taking in the views. We recommend booking an early slot around 9-10am to start the day. The tram allows you to hop on and off at each stop, so you can visit as many wineries as you like or simply spend more time at two or three favorites. If you have ten or more people together, you may even end up with a tram mostly to yourselves. The Orange and Navy lines are both great options, and Babylonstoren is a perfect stop for lunch along those routes. Just a small warning… you’ll definitely feel it after! Be sure to book well in advance. 🍷
Stroll along the beautiful sea front promenade down to the V&A Waterfront, a lively hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment right by the harbor. Explore the piers, savor local bites, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere and stunning waterfront views. Don’t miss the Oranjezicht City Farm Market before or after!
Ready for a bit of adventure? Take on the strenuous hike to the top of Lion’s Head for panoramic views of Cape Town, the ocean, and Table Mountain. Please note: this is a tough hike and not for everyone - best suited for those who are comfortable with steep climbs and rocky terrain.
Whether you’re up for a hike to the summit or just want to soak in the views from a lookout point, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking - don’t forget your camera! If hiking isn’t your thing, you can also take the famous rotating cable car to the top, which glides up the mountain in about 4-5 minutes while slowly turning to give you 360-degree views of Cape Town, the ocean, and the surrounding peaks.
A sleek rooftop restaurant and cocktail lounge with panoramic ocean views, Lion’s Head backdrops, and standout sunsets.
