Brides & Grooms People
We are so hashtag blessed to be surrounded by so much love. We are grateful that our siblings--Melissa and Noah--and two of our best friends--Mollie and Jess--will test out the aisle before we do in pale colored cocktail attire and Converse shoes. We love Jess, Mollie, Noah, and Melissa, infinitely.
Brides & Grooms People
We will be including our family and closest friends in the Jewish tradition of the Sheva Brachot, or Seven Blessings. We have asked our loved ones to write and say blessings, and to stand together, in an organized chaos type of experiment that will constantly remind us of how lucky we are to love and be loved. Stay tuned.
Flower Babies
We are lucky to have so many new babies in our family! We will ask all of these babies (and their parents, if the babies cannot walk on their own), to participate in Flower Baby Brigade. This just means there will be lots of babies and/or toddlers with flowers at the beginning of our wedding.
Brides & Grooms People
Usually you ask two people whom you love to sign your ketubah. We have asked approximately ten. Why? Because so many couples (who are not related to us or to each other, because Judaism) have influenced how we hope to begin and sustain our lives together. We can't think of a better way to honor them, and to capture some of their magic, than by having that magic inscribed on paper for all eternity in the form of their Hebrew and English names. It works that way, right?
