Things To Do

Sarasota is full of amazing restaurants, bars, live music and art! Be sure to checkout the below for some ideas on what to do during your stay.

Downtown Sarasota Bars

Sarasota, FL

There are some great bars within walking distance of the hotels. A few of our favorites include Smokin' Joe's on Main, O'Leary's Tiki Bar, Cask and Ale, State Street, Art Ovation Hotel Rooftop, and the Gator Club (for late night). A fantastic way for the guys (and gals) to watch the Masters.

Downtown Sarasota Restaurants

Sarasota, FL

There are also great restaurants located within walking distance of the hotels. Some of our favorites include Mattison's City Grille (for some nighttime live music), Owen's Fish Camp, Kojo, Flavio's Brick Oven and Bar, and Selva

Saint Armands Circle

Sarasota, FL 34236

Wander through St. Armands Circle, an area filled with boutique shops, bars and restaurants, art galleries, and more. This is one of our favorite areas in Sarasota!

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art

5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, FL 34243

A beautiful collection of gardens and art nearby downtown Sarasota, including the famous Ca'd'Zan mansion. A perfect way to spend a few hours in the afternoon on Friday - tickets are $25 for adults.

Siesta Key Beach

FL 34242

A beautiful beach known for its soft, powdery white sands and clear waters. Also around the Siesta Key areas are several very fun (sometimes rowdy) bars where you can spend the day bar hopping and watching sports. Be careful with traffic though, as it can be heavier when tourists leave the beach! Particular restaurant recommendations in this area include Siesta Key Oyster Bar and Gilligan's Island Bar (both are Florida casual).
