What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal or cocktail attire for our wedding. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a cocktail dress or dressy separates. No jeans or polo shirts please. Because this is an outdoor venue with natural ground, please plan your footwear accordingly.

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

Our wedding venue is entirely outdoors with natural, unpaved ground. The reception will be held under a spacious tent, which can fit everything in the case of rain. We are providing a luxury restroom trailer for your convenience. While there are heat lamps for after sunset, we encourage guests to bring a light jacket.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle bus from the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Hotel and the wedding venue. Please see the "Travel" tab for specific times.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue but it is limited.

Can I take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that all devices be put away during our wedding ceremony. We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy it with us. During the cocktail hour and reception, take all the photos you want!

Yes, kids are welcome to attend.

Answer

Please go to the RSVP tab on our website to submit yours. We kindly ask you to complete it at your earliest convenience, and no later than August 24th. Thank you!
