Salida
Head out to the larger mountain town in the area, Salida! A charming mountain town full of festivities from the outdoor breweries to the populated river bend full of rafters, kayakers, and tubing! We recommend the following restaurants/bars: 1. Boathouse (riverfront) 2. High side (riverfront) 3. Pizza Rio (rooftop view overlooking the water) 4. Moonlight Pizza (our favorite pizza spot, be sure to ask to play the "das boot game" and choose their local beer, the "Moonlight Cream Ale" - you wont be disappointed
ArkAnglers
The Arkansas River provides some of the best fishing opportunities in the state with both brown and rainbow trout in its waters. The river features many miles of public access, which are easily identifiable thanks to green signs placed along its banks. If you need gear or you’d like to take a guided trip along the river, head to ArkAnglers in Salida. Not only are they a full service fly shop but they offer a variety of walk and wade trips, float trips, and fly fishing lessons.

Breckenridge Getaway
This voyage is a measly 50 minutes away from us! Breckenridge is a famous Colorado mountain town
