Finding a bathroom at a fraternity party can easily turn into an unrewarding and challenging journey. Like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow you never wanted to follow, it often leads to disappointment. Once you've found (the only) restroom, you'll have to stand and wait for the deluge of fellow degenerates before you to clear - only to find that the bathroom itself is devoid of almost every amenity typically known to bathrooms. Fortunately, for a young and single Max - her dear friend, Alyson, knew of a porcelain savior located on the second floor. She sent Max to West's room, where she found a raft guide from Texas with a dog and good music - and some might say "the rest is history."
Buena Vista (pronounced bee-yoo-na by locals) is a magical place that has been a constant in West and Max's journey through life together while Home elsewhere was constantly bouncing around. It has been a home for the Paschal family to visit annually since 1958 when William Paschal Sr., West's Grandpa, built a family cabin at the base of Mount Princeton. The cabin has served as a base for adventures of all kinds for 4 generations of Paschals : horseback riding, four-wheeling, big game hunting, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and most important of all, rafting. We highly encourage our guests to extend their stay, if desired, and explore the valley for all that it has to offer. If you are interested in exploring the area during your stay, please view the "Adventures to seek out" tab!
