Step 01: Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN) We highly recommend coordinating flights with other guests so you can book a shared shuttle (more fun and more cost-effective!). Step 02: Take a shared shuttle or private transfer to the port town of Chiquilá (~2 hours) We will help coordinate shared shuttles based on your arrival times to Cancun airport. Please let us know your travel details so we can add to the travel grid and coordinate shuttles from there. One more thing: There’s also a cheaper bus option from Cancún (we’ve done this once!), but it’s a bit more adventurous, your call!

Step 03: Take a ferry across to Isla Holbox (~20 min) Ferries run daily between the port of Chiquilá and Isla Holbox roughly every 30 minutes. Two main companies: 9 Hermanos and Holbox Express alternate their departures to provide consistent service throughout the day. Chiquilá to Holbox (your way in): First departure: 6:00am Last departure: 9:30pm Holbox to Chiquilá (your way out) First departure: 5:00am Last departure: 8:30pm Cost: ~$12 for a one-way ticket. How to buy a ticket: tickets can be purchased at the docks in Chiquilá. Duration: ~20 minutes

Because both spots are so small, we split the rooms into two groups to keep things simple: Punta Caliza for immediate family and Ser Casasandra for our best friends. Rooms will be snagged on a first-come, first-served basis, so please let us know as soon as you're ready to book. To book, just send us your email address, preferred room type and check-in + out date and the hotel will send you a secure booking link. One quick note: Please do not book directly through the hotel website, this is a manual, email-only situation. Lastly: all rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast each morning.
