Question

Will you postpone your celebration due to COVID-19?

Answer

We are currently monitoring the situation and taking empirical advice from experts such as the CDC and World Health Organization into consideration. At this time, we tentatively plan to have our wedding celebration as scheduled and will ensure proper sanitation measures are in place at Zephyr Cove Resort. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates here if anything changes. For our older guests, immunosuppressed and anyone else not comfortable, please know that there is no pressure from our end to travel in June. The health and happiness of our guests is of the utmost importance to us.

Did you already get married?

Answer

Yes! We were married in San Francisco City Hall with our nuclear family members. This allowed us to experience intimate time with our families & with each other. It can be stressful to squish everything in a single day, so we paced ourselves by spreading it across a few months :) Throughout the year, we will celebrate with extended family in New York & India who may not be able to attend the June celebration. Lastly, while we signed paperwork and exchanged rings during the City Hall ceremony, we reserved exchanging of our vows for our June celebration. We can't wait for you to share this moment with us - you are all loved tremendously by us.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Feel good, look good! Cocktail dress or sari -- all are welcome at our wedding celebration! Please know our wedding venue is a mix of sand (ceremony is at the shoreline) and grass. Ladies -- its advised to skip the stiletto heal and opt for either a chunky heel, comfortable sandals or anything else you feel appropriate. Feel free to bring a shawl just in case the temperature gets colder at night but know we will have heat lamps and a fire pit.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We absolutely love your kids. If you would like to bring your little one, please indicate so in the RSVP section of this site. Just note this will be an event with alcohol.

Whats the easiest way to get to the site?

Answer

We advise taking Uber/Lyft to get to and from your place of stay to the celebration location. Its the safest option when late night dancing and drinking are involved!

Is Ruby taking Max's last name?

Answer

One of Ruby's favorite things about Max is how he has always helped her focus on her passions, identity and self-value. This along with Ruby's love for her heritage has led to our decision to keep Kandah as Ruby's last name. Either way, we are family :)
