Family Bonfire: Shabbat, signing license, family photos
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. Wear shoes you can walk on grass/rocks in.
We aren't doing a sit down rehearsal dinner, but will have a bonfire on the lake with s'mores, and snacks after we take care of business (signing the marriage license & ketubah). We'll light candles and say blessings for Shabbat. Folks who want to head out and eat in a restaurant can do so around 7/7:30 after family photos! To get to the Point, there is some limited parking nearby off Lake Shore Drive, but there is not car access - so there's a bit of a 5-10 min walk to get through the underpass and into the park. We will have a Pedicab to shuttle folks who'd have a harder time with the walk. If the weather is horrible, we will have an intimate dinner with immediate family instead!

Join us at our favorite public park in Chicago, with the best sunset views of Lake Michigan & the city skyline. We will have a firepit right on the Lake to hang out with s'mores, pizza, and some things to grill and drink - so long as it's not pouring! Feel free to come early and swim, or just to hang - it's gorgeous. If you're looking to do restaurants/bars, feel free to swing by before/after! From garden attire/cocktail to formal, wear what you're comfortable in! Feel free to get as fancy as you like as well, if there's an outfit that's been burning a hole in your closet :D
Guests can arrive beginning at 4:30. Ceremony begins promptly at 5, followed by open bar, appetizers, BBQ-style buffet, and dancing. Please note this is an outdoor venue with a turf lawn, so it's heel-friendly!
