Please feel free to share ALL your photos, no matter who is in them! There's a QR code on the back of your M&M m&m's, or you can go to this link: https://app.kululu.com/13tmgf
Please arrive in Harvard Yard by 2:30pm. Memorial Church is located in the middle of the Yard, across from Widener Library. It is recognizable by its steeple. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm.
All the events will take place in and around Harvard Yard, which is accessible by car or subway and walkable from several nearby hotels. We ask that you arrive in the Yard by 2:30pm; the ceremony in Memorial Church will begin promptly at 3pm. The ceremony will end around 4pm, at which point there will be a break. You're welcome to relax anywhere you'd like, and we especially recommend three local bars that have served us well over the years: Charlie's Kitchen (10 Eliot St), Cambridge Common (1667 Massachusetts Ave), and Felipe's Taqueria (21 Brattle St; enjoy the rooftop!). The reception will begin at 7pm in the Harvard Art Museums. The entrance is at 32 Quincy St., across the street from the Yard/Memorial Church. (You might know this entrance as the Fogg Museum, which is what it was before the three Harvard museums were combined several years ago.) The reception will begin with a cocktail hour, during which we hope you enjoy the first-floor museum galleries, and then we'll have a seated dinner and dancing. The reception will end at 11:30pm—but keep the party going elsewhere if you'd like!
Yes! The reception dress code is fall formal, black-tie optional. Think rich fall colors, suit & tie, dressy floor-length or midi skirts. Black tie really is optional; tuxes and gowns are not required. No need to wear your fancy reception clothes for the wedding ceremony in the afternoon (unless you love to be fancy, in which case go ahead!), but please dress nicely with our church venue in mind. Suits and skirts recommended. Friday's dress code is business casual or cocktail. There is no dress code on Sunday.
Everyone is invited to both a welcome drinks on Friday and a post-wedding brunch on Sunday. See details on the "Schedule" page, and feel free to drop by for just a portion of either event. In addition, it just so happens that the HONK! music festival will take place in Cambridge over the wedding weekend. It's in Davis Square, so we hope it won't pose any issues with noise or getting around—but if you'd like to check it out, let us know how it is! https://honkfest.org/
We would love to have everyone join, but due to venue limitations we request that only guests whose names are on the invitations attend.
Please keep phones silent and tucked away during the ceremony in Mem Church. We'll have professional photos to share with you afterward. Beyond that, please take all the pictures—and share them with us! We plan to have a QR code and website available where everyone can easily share photos and videos, during or after the wedding. Please note that Harvard strictly disallows any content that implies the university is sponsoring the event, but tagging the location is fine.
Yes, there is limited street parking available, or you can purchase a one-day permit to a Harvard University Garage (see the link below for details). The venues are also easily walkable from the Harvard subway stop. https://harvardartmuseums.org/visit/directions/parking
All of the events are inside, but there are breaks in the day when you might like a warm jacket. There are paved pathways throughout Harvard Yard, so getting around in heels shouldn't be a problem.
Yes, our caterer is happy to accommodate food allergies or restrictions. There is an opportunity to include food restrictions with your RSVP; please note them there.
