Bridal Veil Falls

Take in one of Telluride’s most iconic sights with a hike to the stunning Bridal Veil Falls, Colorado’s tallest free-falling waterfall. The trail offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains and Telluride Valley and is a beautiful way to explore the area during your stay. This is about a 45 minute walk to the trailhead from the Town of Telluride, or an easy bike ride!

Bear Creek Trail

One of Telluride’s most beloved hikes! This scenic trail begins right from town and winds through beautiful aspen forests before reaching Bear Creek Falls. It’s a great way to spend a morning, take in the mountain views, and experience a little of what makes Telluride so special to us.

Telluride Via Ferrata

For the adventurous, Telluride’s Via Ferrata offers an unforgettable way to experience the mountains. This thrilling route traverses the cliffs high above the valley using fixed cables, iron rungs, and narrow pathways, with incredible views along the way. A guided tour is highly recommended for a safe and memorable experience!

Telluride River Trail & Valley Floor Trail

The Telluride River Trail is an easy, scenic 4.1-mile out-and-back walking and biking path that runs the length of Telluride along the banks of the San Miguel River.

Rent a bike or mountain bike and spend the day cruising along scenic river trails, exploring the valley, or hitting the surrounding cross country mountain bike trails for some vertical. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely ride or a little more adventure, biking is a fun way to see more of the area and take in the beautiful mountain scenery.

Fly Fishing

Spend a peaceful day on the water fly fishing! The area offers plenty of opportunities to cast a line and enjoy a slower-paced way to take in the surrounding landscape. Local guides are available for those looking to make a day of it, pack your rods!
