Troy or Albany?

We are recommending guests stay in Troy. We will be having the welcome party in Troy and think Troy is a very cute town to walk around in! We plan to offer a shuttle from the Best Western Plus at Franklin Square Inn (listed below) to the wedding venue. The wedding venue is just southeast of Albany & Troy. The venue is a short 15 minute drive from Albany and just 17 minutes from Troy. If you are looking for the closest hotel to the wedding venue that would be the Comfort Inn and Suites at 99 Miller Road Castleton, NY, or there is also a Marriott Residence Inn between Albany and the venue at 3 Tech Valley Dr. East Greenbush, NY.
