What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be held indoors on site at the Stablegate Barn

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Between 4:30pm and 4:45pm. The ceremony will start at 5:00pm, we will be serving refreshments pre-ceremony, please feel free to arrive early and enjoy the scenery before getting seated!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome, please be sure to RSVP for all children who will be attending and needing their own seat, as well as any little ones needing highchairs!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available for guests driving to the venue!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do plan on providing a shuttle from the Best Western on Franklin street in Troy to the venue. There is potential to add stops at nearby hotels. More information will be available closer to the date.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, of course! Our appetizers and dinner has primarily vegetarian and gluten free inclusions, please let us know if there is anything else we need to be aware of for you specifically when RSVPing!

Are you registered? Where?

No. We are not asking for any gifts. Your presence will be gift enough :)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We are recommending guests stay in Troy. We will be having the welcome party in Troy and think Troy is a very cute town to walk around in! Please see the travel page for hotel details, Best Western and Courtyard Albany/Troy Waterfront recommended. The wedding venue is just southeast of Albany & Troy. The venue is a short 15 minute drive from Albany and just 17 minutes from Troy.
