Max grew up in Bridgewater, New Jersey. He attended TCNJ and studied civil engineering, just like his father. He now works as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey. Emma grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey. She also went to TCNJ and studied English Secondary Education and now teaches 8th grade Language Arts and a conglomerate of other classes in Allendale, New Jersey. She is also attending Teachers College, Columbia to earn her masters in Curriculum and Teaching. Emma and Max have a wide variety of common interests and hobbies, some of which are traveling, hiking, fishing, Pokemon Go, climbing, camping, painting, reading, doing anything outside...and watching The Bachelor. "We went to the same college!" is what we tell everyone. It's true, but actually we met on Bumble. And it was love at first sight :)

We would be remiss not to mention the absence of Max's father at our wedding. He is missed every day, and we wish that he could be there. In lieu of party favors, we are pledging to donate 10% of our wedding gifts to Kid's Chance. Kids’ Chance of New Jersey was created to provide scholarships for college and vocational education to children of New Jersey workers who have been fatally or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident.
