Exploring Minnesota's winter is totally worth it! If you're more of the see it without freezing your butt off type then you'll be happy to know that most buildings in downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis are connected by skyways to shield you from the sub freezing temps. Otherwise bundle up (seriously) get out there and throw a snowball or two!
Art Shanty Project on Lake Harriet
The Art Shanty Project has a really cool art installation (of sorts) on frozen Lake Harriet. If you've ever wanted to walk on a frozen lake, stop by and see how Minnesotans thrive in the winter. This event will be going on from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday!
Sledding!
Enjoy the crispest of winter airs (take a deep breath and feel your nose hairs crinkle!). Sled down a hill like a kid again, or with a kid (preferably your own or one you know.)

Fun for everyone! Once when Max and I were at the Science Museum we overheard a child say to their parent "I'm trying to look at science!" so what's not to love about that?
