His: Shelby and I met during our Freshman year at the University of Tennessee. It wasn't until the end of the year that I gained the nerve to ask her to be my girlfriend. She visited me at school that summer, and it was then I knew that I really had something special with her. We visited each other every summer after that, lived close by throughout the school years, and graduated together. After graduation, I knew there was no way what we had could end. When she found a job in Memphis, I packed my bags. We moved here in August of 2018, and our love has only grown from there. I proposed to Shelby on August 8th, 2019, while overlooking the Mississippi River. There was a moment - and I couldn't tell you the exact day or time - when I realized that Shelby was the purest soul I've ever met. I realized that she pushes me to be a better son to my parents, a better brother to my siblings, a better friend to people I care about, and a better spouse. It was that moment that made me realize, above all else, how deep my love truly went for her. I could never thank God enough for putting someone like her in my life, and I often wonder what I did to deserve her. I am beyond excited to share vows with her, and to share the rest of our lives with each other. I love you Shelby! Hers: From the moment I met Max I knew that he was different. Everything about him was different, from the clothes he wore, to the music he listened to, and the biggest thing that sets him apart from everyone else is what he talks about. Since day 1, Max and I have had the most in-depth, heart-to-heart conversations and that's one of my favorite things about him. Max balances me more than anyone I've ever met.
