Please wear whatever makes you most comfortable. We do advise you consider the weather possibilities. November in Ohio could bring possible snow or an unexpected sunny day. Shoes: the parking lot is gravel and the walkways are paved in between all areas. The reception, cocktail hour and bar area are also paved. The ceremony however, will take place on a grassy area unless it is raining. Again weather dependent, the ground may be wet or soft.
Cocktail hour and reception will be an open bar. Available beverages: - Specifics TBD - Specialty Ice cream shots available thanks to Knueven Creamery.
The ceremony will be outdoors unless rain or other weather conditions exist. If raining: - The ceremony will be moved indoors and held in the reception/pavilion area nearby. - Walkways will be lined with umbrellas to provide a dry path. If cold temperatures: - The pavilion will have outdoor heaters - The pavilion can be enclosed on any and all sides to aid in temp control or block wind/rain. - There are multiple outdoor fire places that will be on during the reception near the patio/bar area.
StillWaters Retreat is an outdoor venue. Because of this, they have not and will not need to restrict event sizes should Covid numbers increase and capacity sizes be restricted in the state of Ohio.

Absolutely! We would love nothing more than to have your kids be present and a part of our day.
Parking is available at the venue. Please follow the general parking signs that will guide you to the lot near the pavilion as the immediate spaces upon arrival are reserved.
An unplugged ceremony is where guests are asked to leave their cell phones turned off and put away during the ceremony. We would rather see your happy smiles and lovely faces. Our photographer and videographer are great, they will capture everything for us. This provides the opportunity for us all to be present in the moment instead of trying to capture pictures/video. Guests cell phones won't be in the photographers pictures. And vice versa.
