Maverick Marenger

he/they Maverick is from the Upper Peninsula where he formed his love for animals, the violin, and nature. He is extremely talented at art and cooking. He is the kindest and most encouraging partner to exist. He has the ability to bring out the best in everyone, and Sarah literally CAN NOT WAIT to be his wifey.
Lizzie Gunter

she/her/hers Lizzie is Sarah's big sister. Lizzie and Sarah both share a love of musical theatre, Disney movies, and drag queens. Between their 24-hour New York trips to see Broadway shows, the many Tim Horton's Ice Capp runs, and all the car karaoke duets, Lizzie and Sarah have always been mighty close. Lizzie is a hedgehog mom to Alice, and she is, to this day, undefeated at Disney Scene-it.
Josh Marenger
Best Man
he/him/his Maverick's oldest brother! Josh has done so much to shape Maverick into the person he is today, and time they get to spend together is so valued. Josh has given so much time and energy to help Maverick succeed including driving Maverick to college 7 hours from home and letting us stay with him when we go to visit. Josh loves to cook, grill, brew his own beer, and roast Mav when appropriate.
Lindsey Brown

she/her/hers Lindsey is Sarah's partner in crime and best friend. Between all the Louis the Lightning Bug shows, late-night pasta catastrophes, and every "Lindsey and Sarah duet" these two have had countless, hilarious, shenanigan-filled adventures. Lindsey is the Rebecca to Sarah's Paula (hello crazy ex-girlfriend reference) and Sarah is so grateful to have found a lifelong best friend like Lindsey.
Kim Kang

she/her/hers Kim and Maverick have been a duo since middle school. The two of them have been playing violin together for 12 years now, from middle school, college and today in the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra. Kim and Mav have always been fans of seeing and sharing music together and have been to concerts in 4 states and countless cities. Maverick is beyond thankful to have such a loyal friend to grow into adulthood with.
Steven Gunter

he/him/his Steven is Sarah's twin brother. These two share a love of Marvel movies and the show "Steven Universe". Steven is one of the kindest people in the world. He is the favorite uncle of Sarah and Maverick's dog Olaf, and he is one of Sarah's best friends. Steve is someone Sarah knows she can go to when she wants to talk about anything, and he always knows exactly what to say in just about every situation. He's the coolest twin brother anyone could ask for!
Annette Tant

she/her/hers Annette was in the room where it happened, the room where it ha- sorry. Annette was there the day Sarah and Maverick met, and has been a close friend to both of us over the past several years. The three of us have lived together as roommates in two different apartments, and have experienced getting to know adulthood together. Annette is a talent crochet artist and is always ready to play Just Dance.
Kevin Keller

he/him/his Kevin is Sarah's childhood best friend. They met in the local community children's choir when Sarah was in the first grade. Growing up, these two had many late-night Skype calls and sleepovers where they obsessed over all things musical theatre which solidified their rock-solid friendship. When these two were teens, they once wrote a small play comprised of only musical theatre puns.
Amber Marenger

she/her/hers Amber is one of the most cheerful people we have ever met. She has always been very supportive of our relationship and shrieked when she found out we were engaged. She loves to bake, garden, and play with her old man dog, Chewie. We are so lucky to have her as a bonus sister and as a friend.
Shelby Seeley

she/her/hers Shelby and Sarah met through the theatre department at EMU. Shelby and Sarah have been a part of numerous shows together. These two also went to Kentucky where they attended a theatre conference and went to the coolest bar Sarah has ever been to. Shelby is someone Sarah knows she can always rely on for a crazy fun time. Shelby is a brilliant director, lover of horses, and lover of the lake!
Allen Marenger

he/him/his Allen is the older brother of the groom. He taught him to play tennis, soccer, and The Sims. His sardonic sense of humor and calm demeanor has played a huge influence in shaping Maverick's personality as he grew up. Allen is also the father of our Flower Girl, Anna.
Heather Adair

she/her/hers Heather is such a cool person and an incredible friend. Heather and Sarah's paths crossed a few times throughout high school, but they did not become close friends until they got to college. Heather and Sarah share their love of chocolate chip cookies, dogs, and the musical "Rent". Heather is an accomplished stage manager, and super talented actor (although she may tell you differently).
Michelle Doucet

she/her/hers Michelle is so much fun to be around and is an amazing friend to have. She and Maverick have been friends since middle school, and they have always been very close. Michelle is a talented baker, and is currently pursuing her culinary gifts at college in Toronto. When something good, bad, or unordinary happens, Michelle is almost always the first to hear about it.
Anna Marenger

she/her/hers Our beautiful niece! Anna loves Moana and Sesame Street. She will do almost anything for some sweet potato fries dipped in ranch. Anna won't be old enough to drink for about 19 years, but that won't stop her from tearing up the dance floor.
Mick Rose

they/them/theirs Mick is a close friend of both the groom and bride. They have gone camping with us the past few summers, and we have seen thunderstorms, shooting stars, and even the northern lights together. Mick is one of the best people to explore areas new or old with and we are so glad to have them stand by us on our special day.
Mary Jo Gunter

she/her/hers Mary Jo is an amazing performer and mother. She introduced Sarah to music, and they have been in shows together since Sarah was in elementary school. In addition to their mutual love of theatre, MaryJo has always been so supportive of Sarah throughout all of the ups and downs that life brings.
Doris Cayer

she/her/hers Doris is an active mother, grandmother, and volunteer. When Maverick was a kid, you could find her on the field coaching his soccer games or volunteering at school events.Today, she organizes a food pantry and soup kitchen for her community. She also loves to read, and play with her grandbaby Anna.
Dave Gunter
Father of the Bride
he/him/his Dave is the best dad in the world. He is brilliant, kind, and hilarious. Growing up, Dave did his best to support every crazy extracurricular Sarah signed up for, even if it meant he was stuck as the chauffeur. Sarah is a carbon copy of her dad. Anyone who sees these two together witnesses them bouncing off of each other's energy and cracking up the entire time.
Patty Marenger

she/her/hers Growing up closest in age to Maverick, Patty was his go-to playmate and confidant for his entire adolescence. As Maverick's only younger sibling, she faced broken Barbie Dolls and frequent power struggles. Memories of playing at the park, toybox scuba-diving, and watching Full House past our bedtime will always be held dearly by the groom.
