Mother of the Bride
Amy Wade (Penny’s mother) is a wonderful, hilarious, talented, sarcastic, empathetic, loving mom. She is an amazing Opera singer, so talented as an actress and she always knows how to crack a joke. Amy always wants what is best for her kids and is always there to listen. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Penny takes a lot after her mother in sarcasm and empathy. Amy has been nothing but a wonderful mom to Penny, and to me. With my complex family history, I am so grateful and lucky to be able to call Amy my mother in law. I am so thankful for the relationship we share and memories we have made over the last 5, almost 6 years. She is always there for me and she deserves a huge round of applause for all the work she put in to make this wedding celebration happen and efforts she has made to make me feel like a part of the family. Thank you for being the best, and allowing me into your lovely family. I’m looking forward to many more holidays, memories and things to celebrate with you.
Cecil Wade
Father of the Bride
Cecil (Penny’s Father) is someone who is kind, smart, accepting, loving and caring. Cecil is someone who is always willing to help you hash out a solution to something you’re working on, introduce you to new information, and be there for you when things get tough. Cecil is someone who loves very strongly and someone who always tries to lighten the mood by making a joke that might not always land well. He has been a great dad to Penny, and a great dad to me. I can’t say that I’ve had a lot of father figures in my life but he is a wonderful father in law and always makes sure to make me feel included and loved. I’m so appreciative for everything he has done to help make this wedding celebration happen and all of the car rides listening to music when he drives me to work. I am looking forward to many more moments with him and I’m proud to be a part of your family. Thank you for being an amazing dad to me when I needed one.
Juliann Coello

Juliann (Mav’s adopted mom) is a strong, loving, caring, wonderful mom. Juliann has been there for me through thick and thin and many challenges I have faced in my adolescence, young adult life and now adult life. She took me in after I exited the foster care system and helped form me into the person I am today. She has always been someone who sees the good in things even if I can’t always see them too. She has loved me like her own child since the day we met and has always made me feel loved, seen, and cared about. She has been there for me, Penny and my bio siblings and always has made and effort to be a good mom to me. Thank you for being such a huge part of my life. I am so grateful to have you as my mom. You are genuinely one of my biggest role models and I’m so happy to have a mom like you.
Grandpa Jim
Grandpa of honor
Grandpa is the best hands down. I’m not going to get to sappy here because I think grandpa will get disinterested if I do that, but I do want to say thank you for being the one constant in my life since I was born outside of my siblings. You have always taught me to be strong and to work hard. I thank you for all of the lessons you have taught me and all of the laughs you have given me. Penny and I, we love this jokester like crazy. Grandpa has some insane lore and some insane quotes, one of our favorites being “any dog under 20lbs is a rodent” and many more. We are so grateful for him. Thank you for always being such a huge part of my life grandpa. I am so lucky to have you in my life. I love you so much. Thank you for sharing my sick sense of humor and making jokes with me when everything is spiraling out of control and being here to celebrate my wedding with me. It means a lot that you’re always here for me.

We are ecstatic to have Cynthia, Matt, Hayley and Gevi here to join us. In addition to them we are also so excited to have Ali, Blair, Merrie and Char. Cynthia and Ali are Penny’s sisters, Matt and Blair are their spouses, and Hayley, Gevi, Merrie and Char are our nieces. I am so thankful to have you guys here and a part of our lives. It is so exciting to be able to spend holidays and many other occasions with you. Thank you guys for always being so kind and accepting me into your family. I am looking forward to many more family endeavors with you!

Jessi has been Mav’s friend since 2019– and we have had the best college times together and remained a huge part of my life. Jessi and I graduated together, celebrate Halloween together every year, our birthday’s are two weeks apart and we both share the same love for music. Jessi is an amazing best friend and I am so lucky to have her being such a huge part of my big day. She is always so supportive and kind and is one of the best people you could ever meet. Jessi is so talented, organized, smart, kind and one of my favorite people. Jessi is always there to lend a helping hand and support and to eat gummy bears for dinner with at 3am during finals and midterms (sorry Maxine). I love you so much and can’t wait to sing more karaoke with you like our airplanes debut classic.
Aloura Bennett

Aloura is one of the best people I have ever met. We met through Taylor Rinaldi (honorary mention because she is best woman) and have been inseparable since. Aloura is funny, chaotic, kind and one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Aloura is the friend who will drive 6 hours from New Hampshire just to see you for a few hours. Aloura’s love and kindness for her friends is so rare. Aloura is my best friend and I am so lucky to have had her in my life since 2022. Aloura had taught me so much about confidence and believing in myself. Aloura always makes me feel better when I am going through the toughest of times. She is always down for chaotic adventures and always there to make impulsive decisions with me. I am so grateful to have Aloura with me on this journey of life and these major milestones.
Ashley Coello

Ashley’s family (Juliann, Kira and Tom) unofficially adopted Mav post high school graduation. Ashley has been there for me through the hardest parts of my young adult and adult life. Ashley is so fun, lively, funny, kind and supportive. Ashley has supported my relationship with Penny from the beginning—which is saying a lot because if anyone has impeccable reads on vibes- it’s her. Ashley has loved me when I couldn’t love myself, supported me through thick and thin—even when I wasn’t making the best choices for myself and has developed a wonderful close-relationship with Penny. Penny and I both love Ashley very dearly and are so honored to have a sister like her. Ashley brings out the best in you. She is someone to laugh with, someone to ugly cry with, and someone to listen to music on 100 with and scream the lyrics as loud as you can in the car together. Ashley is one of the most selfless, loving people I have ever met. I am so honored to have her in my life and to be able to share the good, the bad, the ugly and the best with her. She listens and judges but unfortunately she is usually correct. I love you Ash, thank you for being our sister.
Taylor Rinaldi

Taylor has been Mav’s best friend since the summer post 5th grade. I asked her to sign my yearbook and to put her phone number in it so we could hang out over the summer. Little did I know that we would fast forward 15 years later to her being part of my wedding party. Taylor has grown up with me and all of my siblings, and she knows all of the family lore. Taylor is the best friend you call when you got TEA to tell. Taylor has been in my life so long I don’t even remember what my life was like before she was in it! From listening to Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” when it first came out on my iPod (which big thank you to my cousin Amanda for setting that up for us) to hiding in the trunk of my mom’s car because we couldn’t legally fit all of us kids in it! From catching frogs in the swamp by my house, to her teaching me about web comics that will haunt her forever, to having sleepovers on the trampoline and in our treehouse, to her leaving to live with her mom but being long distance best friends, to reuniting in the summer of 2015 at a hotel for her birthday (which her dad totally freaked her out and kidnapped her lowkey), to going through our first serious break ups together, to Melanie Martinez concerts, boba trips, celebrating Halloween and birthdays, and many more adventures to my big day— I couldn’t be happier to be able to share this with someone who is my sister by choice.
Tom Wade

Tom (Penny’s sibling) is a crafty, funny, intelligent person who has always been a good sibling to Penny. Penny and Tom both share a love for video games, media, appreciation for art and memes. Penny and Tom always have this fun sibling telepathy of shared humor and it’s so wonderful when they get to spend time together and laugh together. Penny is so grateful to have the relationship with Tom that she does and be able to share the next Magic the Gathering card drop or new video game drop with each other. Tom, has been a wonderful addition to my life and I’m so happy to have them as a new additional sibling (officially of course). Tom visited me on numerous occasions when I was sick in the hospital in 2021 and has been such a good sibling to me as well. I am so grateful for them flying here in March to attend our legal wedding date and all the times they’ve been there for us. Thank you for everything and I’m so glad to be a part of your family.
Atlas Luther

Atlas is one of the most fun, kind, open-minded, loving, friendly, talented and whimsical people we have ever met. We met Atlas in a dollar tree parking lot when they complimented my tattoos in the check out line. Penny and Atlas have been inseparable since. I mean they literally ping pong back and forth every time they’re in the same room. Atlas is able to play literally any instrument they pick up, crochets the most insanely beautiful pieces you’ve ever seen, is talented at singing, drawing, creating new things and is one of the most thoughtful people you will ever meet. Atlas is so funny and has the most chaotic energy ever. They are one of the best friends you could ever ask for and we are so grateful to have them in our lives. We love Atlas very dearly and love creating new memories with them. Atlas is a lover of birds, The Crane Wives, The Decembrists and is a Renaissance Faire come to life in a person. Thank you for all your help to make this wedding special.
Caleb Huston

Caleb and Penny met in college and he, she and Nick soon became “The Three Musketeers.” These 3, will go take a trip to the Rainforest Cafe—where Penny will forget to tell Mav and then Mav is tracking her location and as soon as she says she is with Nick and Caleb I already know there is many shenanigans going on. This trio is so silly. Caleb studied film in college and featured Penny in some of his short films. Caleb has an insane roster of films he rates every year which we are always so impressed by. Caleb is a caring, kind, fun, awesome, thoughtful best friend. We are so grateful to have been at Caleb and Nicole’s wedding last November and to have them both in our lives. Penny cherishes every time she gets to watch Nintendo directs with Caleb and Nick, playing games online together despite the distance. Penny loves going on adventures in her inseparable trio and is so glad that Nicole and Grace are added to the group now too. We love attending Nicole and Caleb’s semi-annual parties and any time we get to spend with them. Penny and Caleb’s friendship is something that is so genuine and special and we are so grateful to have him here today as one of our best men.
Nick Barrieau

Nick and Penny met at college—where they soon formed a trio with Caleb that is known for its mischief. Whether it be filling a LeBron James squishy item with orbees with water and playing hot potato at an Airbnb in New Hampshire, or them filling a pool in their dorm room and throwing a Beach Party and having the RA’s tell them to take down the pool, or having a lobster in their dorm room—which ultimately led to them having a lobster funeral on the quad, these 3 are always up to their next scheme. Nick and Penny share a love for the same games and media as well as love for Pokémon. Caleb, Nick and Penny are the friend groups you see in movies—as cliché as that may sound, their friendship survived through a pandemic—long distance and many more life transformations. We are so glad that Grace is along for the journey to (sometimes) talk Nick out of trouble—and sometimes join in on it. We are so lucky to have best friends like you guys that we can laugh with. Thank you for always keeping things spontaneous. This trio is one for the record books.

Nicole is one of the most intelligent, kind, caring, funny, empathetic people we know. Nicole has a love for books, her and Caleb’s cats (Figaro and Kevin) (RIP to Kevin recently), sunflowers, adventures and social work. Nicole is a friend you can laugh with, open up to, and share some AMAZING Buffalo chicken dip with. Nicole makes the BEST Buffalo chicken dip. We are so lucky that Nicole and Caleb found each other—they are a perfect pairing. We are so grateful to have a best friend like Nicole in our lives. She is extraordinary in so many ways. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to us and along for our journey. We began our relationship shortly after Nicole and Caleb started dating where we all had to brave the pandemic in our relationships together. Over the past 5 years, seeing you guys grow together and our friendship grow has been a wonderful experience and I look forward to what the future holds for our friendships.

Grace is one funny character. Grace is so sarcastic, sassy, fun and sweet. We are so happy that you and Nick met and love seeing you guys grow together. Grace is the life of the party. We love having Grace as one of our best friends and are so proud of her and Nick for continuing to pursue their education together. Grace keeps Nick out of trouble (except when Nick sucks her in to it) and we enjoy having them around. Ben is a chaotic menace. He is a slayer of dragon’s in D&D and Jessi’s partner. Ben is someone who always has a story to tell, a sea shanty to sing and we are so happy to have him as one of our best friends. Ben has been a constant in our lives for many years now and we are so thankful that he is there for us, and there to show up in some insane costume at our Halloween parties. Ben is a kind, fun person to be around and we are so happy for him and Jessi to get to be in our wedding party.

Ginny is Penny’s sibling’s partner. We are so lucky and happy to have someone so lovely in our lives. Ginny is kind, good with birds (the family parrot Phoebe, loves her) and fun to be around. Ginny is someone who’s always down for a new adventure and someone we enjoy being around. We are looking forward to making many more memories with you.

Kira is Mav’s adopted sister. We met in high school through marching band and she invited me into her family. Kira and her family have been a part of my life since 2016 and I am grateful and lucky to have many memories to cherish with them. Whether that is going to a summer party at Aunt Mary’s house, walking to terrywile to take photos together, US band competitions (suffering in the heat together), making TikTok’s, listening to music and going apple picking and many more moments. I am glad I have so many to share with Kira and she is here to share this special day with us.
Maple

Maple is one of our long distance good friends that Penny had met through a TikTok and added us to their server and their friend group. She is a wonderful person with a huge heart and we are so grateful to have been friends with her through a lovely long distance friendship throughout the past several years. We are so grateful for our friendship with her and glad we get to be a part of her server and her life! Maple knows crazy facts about anything and everything and is super funny and brightens up so many of our days with her funny commentary.
Sarah (Shoof)

Sarah AKA shoof is a trickster, talented and so kind. Shoof one time convinced Mav that Shoof was her actual name and it was Canadian (of course Mav fell for this). Shoof is someone who always is a good friend and includes everyone. She is amazing at animation and we are so happy to have her as one of our really good friends. Shoof always has some crazy fun new quote to say and always comes up with fun mischief to liven things up. Thank you for being one of our good friends Shoof we are so grateful for you.
Vamp

Vamp is someone you can always depend on. Vamp is a good friend who always makes sure everyone is included. She is one of the people who make the discord server and friend group great. Vamp has so much empathy and we love hearing her rants when she is gaming. Vamp is the friend who can school you in Roblox, listen to you and then start screaming about cheese puffs two minutes later and we love her for that. Thank you for being such a good friend to us. We are so delighted to have you as part of our lives.

Val is someone who is strong, kind, brave and resilient. She is a good listener, a good friend and someone who is so wonderful to talk to. We love being able to have good moments with Val and be able to share interests in gaming, anime, music and media with her. I love hearing Val’s tangents about her interests and being able to connect/ empathize about our crazy lives. We are so happy and lucky to have met Val and are looking forward to making many more memories with her.
