Travel Note
Getting to Berkeley
If you're coming from abroad, we recommend flying into San Francisco International (SFO) and staying in Berkeley, where our wedding celebrations will be held. Oakland also has an airport with easy access to Berkeley but no direct Canadian or UK flights. Public transit, Uber/Lyft and taxis are easily available in the Bay Area so no need to rent a car for any of the events, unless you wish to explore more of the beautiful sights in the area.

The Faculty Club Hotels
We have a room block at the charming, affordable and untouched-since-the-1970s UC Berkeley Women's Faculty Club for guests. This hotel is next door to our venue (the separate Faculty Club, sans gender) with 12 rooms available. Please get in touch with Maureen or Sam if you'd like to book any rooms at the following rooms from September 26-28: Twin Suite (2 double beds + optional cot) - $226/night Deluxe Queen (1 Queen Bed) - $207/night Junior Queen (1 Queen Bed) - $196/night Standard Double (1 Double Bed) - $184/night
Rental Car
Parking at the Faculty Club Hotels
If you have arranged to stay at the Faculty Club or the Women's Faculty Club with Maureen and Sam, you can get a parking permit for nearby UC Berkeley parking structures. The structures are less than a five minute walk away from the hotels and cost $16/night. They can be arranged at the front desk of the hotel! There is a loading and unloading zone right by the hotel which you can use to drop off or pick up people and luggage.
