Matron of Honor
Molly is one of my two built in BFFS (aka older sister). We have been close for as long as I can remember. Molly had to put up with a lot growing up with me, from sharing a room as kids, to waking me up (or attempting to) at 5:00am for swim practice in High School. I have always really looked up to her as a role model in all facets of life. If you need to know anything about long distance open-water swimming, embroidery, or social justice, Molly is your girl. She is one of the smartest, most insightful people I have ever known and I can't wait to share this special experience with her.
Best Man
I met Dan in grade school playing traveling baseball. From poker nights in high school and playing sports, we both went on to attend college at Ohio State (I was two years late). If you ever need someone to discuss those deep life questions, or complain about who the next Browns QB or coach will be, Dan is your perfect guy.
Maid of Honor
Meghan is my other built in BFF (oldest sister). I have always admired Meghan's love of traveling, and I am so fortunate to have shared this experience with her in my adult life. The two of us have traveled to Alaska, Sweden, and even Colorado Springs for a month. We share a mutual love of sun-protection, Hamilton, a good bagel, and silent disco. She is an excellent cook who makes the best risotto and breakfast burrito you will ever have. Meghan is wicked smart and can probably answer any question you have, especially about sports, which Mitch really appreciates. I am so excited to have her by my side on the big day!
Best Man
I got to know Keith really well when we played on the same same Little League team in grade school. High school consisted of a lot of golf rounds, and countless trips to Cici's pizza or Buffalo Wild Wings. He is just about the most creative person I know, and not too bad at the guitar either.
Bridesmaid
Janelle was my random roommate freshman year of college at Miami. We immediately clicked over staying in more nights than going out, a good Taylor Swift ballad, and too much diet coke. Janelle experienced a lot of firsts with me: helping me use an ATM, garnering up the courage to sing karaoke (shout out Tswift), and attempting to go walleye fishing. She has been there for me through it all, with a smile on her face and the best hug to follow. It's no surprise we ended up living together all 4 years of college. Janelle is one of the absolute kindest people on this earth and is one of the only people who successfully knows every word to Ice Ice Baby and can also deliver an incredible commencement speech at Miami's Business School.
Groomsman
I got to know Colton really well in Jr. High, and we continued that friendship through high school, which mostly consisted of random weekends playing video games and watching movies in whoever's basement. We attended Ohio Northern for two years, and made countless memories (wish we could remember them all) out on the town in good ole Ada, OH.
Bridesmaid
I met Logan my freshman year of college when we lived on the same floor. She first intimidated me with her Rugby-playing and football-loving self. Once I got to know Logan, I quickly realized her compassionate and generous nature that makes her an incredible friend. We ended up becoming super close during the next three years of college, and have since been on some amazing adventures. When Logan took an assignment in Brussels a few years ago, we met up in Switzerland for a weeklong trip which included snowshoeing, sledding, and many train rides to various cities.
Groomsman
I got to know Phil towards the end of college, starting with spring break senior year. We ended up living together for two years after college, and became good friends during this time. If you ever want a playlist for a Friday night consisting of the same Kanye West song and various country songs, Phil is your guy. Our days now consist of many visits to Columbus during football season.
Bridesmaid
I met Katie my freshman year at Miami when we lived in the same dorm. We first met in our hall's communal bathroom where we both happened to be refilling our Britas. We immediately bonded over a love of filtered water and watching One Tree Hill. She quickly became one of my go-to friends in college for cozy movie nights and walks to get ice cream. Senior year, we shared an intense love of 90's night on Tuesdays and Country Night on Wednesdays.... and basically every other night of the week. I was visiting Katie in Columbus the night I met Mitch, so we can all basically thank her for making this day possible.
Groomsman
I've known Cody since early grade school, when we were always on the same basketball team. We played on the basketball team in high school, and those days consisted of many nights hanging at Ellen's (Cody's wife now, my earliest childhood friend) swimming and having bonfires. We attended Ohio Northern for two years, and Cody's favorite memories probably consist of Colton and I coming into his dorm at 2:00am when he had a football game the next day or to grab a granola bar and Gatorade.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I first met each other in elementary school, but started becoming close when were on the swim together team in high school. She is one of those people where it's impossible not to have a good time when you're around her. She's always down for a spontaneous adventure all for the sake of a good laugh and a good time. We always did the silliest things together (which may or may not be documented on the internet) and never took ourselves too seriously. I credit any and all of my fashion sense to Rachel. She has always been the best personal stylist and is, of course, the first person I took wedding dress shopping!
Groomsman
I got to know Rob really well after transferring to Ohio State through Dan, who was good friends with him. We spent countless nights debating the status of the Browns and Buckeyes, with my optimistic view often clashing with his glass half-empty view.
Bridesmaid
I first met Zuma my freshman year of college through mutual friends. We ended up being suite-mates sophomore year, lived in the same apartment complex junior year, and also in the same house senior year (along with 8 other girls). I was drawn to Zuma's ability to make any situation fun and exciting, no matter what was happening! One of my favorite memories with Zuma is when a few friends and I visited her in Arizona when she was in med school. We rented an RV and did a 5 day road trip to a few National Parks out west. She somehow tricked me into doing an INSANE hike but it ended up being totally worth it.
Groomsman
Danny is Maureen's younger brother. We've shared many experiences together, probably the most notable being zip-lining in Victoria, BC. Our excursion consisted of two groups, a family with three small children, and then the two of us. That definitely made for some fun memories. Danny also went to Michigan, and we got to attend the game for the first time together this year. He may be the only Michigan fan I could sit and watch the game with.
Bridesmaid
Kelly is my brother Brendan's wife, who I have known for over a decade now! If you follow me on any form of social media, the two adorable blonde children I regularly post pictures of aren't actually mine... they're Kelly's. Besides being the mother of the two cutest children on the planet, Kelly has become like another sister to me. Ever since I met Kelly, she has always made me feel like I can talk to her about anything, without judgement. I have always appreciated Kelly's guidance over the years and look forward to continuing that influence during this new stage of my life.
Groomsman
Brendan is Maureen's older brother, and I think he thinks I'm okay. But seriously, Brendan and I get along great discussing things like the state of Detroit sports and which games we like for NFL Sundays. We've also had our fair share of golf rounds, where I'm still waiting to put two consistent 9 holes together.
Bridesmaid
Aimee is Mitch's older sister. When I first started dating Mitch and learned he only had one sibling, a sister, I was a bit worried. I thought maybe she would give me a hard time or make me feel unwelcome as the "new girl." I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment I met Aimee, I knew we would become friends. We immediately bonded over cute babies, trashy reality TV, and our ability to poke fun at Mitch. Aimee is bubbly, kind, and everything you could want in a sister-in-law. I feel so lucky to be joining the Williams family and to be gaining a sister!
Groomsman
I got to know Craig really well in college through many nights out that frequently ended at Charlie Bear drinking bear brews (and regrettably for everyone else the dance floor). It was always a blast and still is hanging out together, whether it's a random trip to Cleveland or a football Saturday in Columbus.
