Also a stop on the People Mover, another interesting transportation option. *Be sure to check out Highlands - a restaurant at the top of the RenCen - it was a wedding venue that we looked at and loved before we saw The Roostertail!

Fox Theatre and Gem Theatres are in this area in addition to the Detroit Opera House. Lots of sightseeing to be done in this area!

While it doesn’t have the rivalry of Lafayette or the storied history of Buddy’s, this new of the scene bakery in the West Village in Detroit is worth the drive. Try the salted maple pie with fresh whipped cream and while you’re in the neighborhood check out the historical homes in Indian Village.
