Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation from downtown to The Roostertail. The first shuttle will be picking up at 5PM at St. Aloysius. The second shuttle will pick up around 5:45PM at St. Aloysius. Going back, the shuttle will leave the Roostertail at 9:15, 10:15, 11:15PM and drop off at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel.

Is there parking at the venue if I want to drive?

Answer

Absolutely - there is a huge parking lot dedicated to The Roostertail venue. The venue also has a locking gate to make sure that anyone who is not associated with the wedding will not be allowed through.

What can I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Great question - check out the Things To Do tab! There are so many great things to do around downtown Detroit. Great bars, restaurants, and attractions to check out before you head over to the river to party with us :)

Parking around Detroit?

Answer

Tons of parking is available around Detroit. They have lots of street parking that you can utilize (just be sure to download Park Detroit so you can easily pay on your phone!) as well as several parking garages around the area. Vince and I always utilize the Detroit Opera House Parking Garage when we visit - it's centralized and easy to access.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, the reception will be an adult only event! There will be kids at the ceremony if you'd like to bring them to that, however.

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit and women wear cocktail dresses, midi-dresses or dressy separates.
