The closest airport is Dane County Regional Airport, located 10 minutes from downtown Madison. We recommend flying into Dane County because it is usually smooth and easy! The next closest option is Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, located in Milwaukee (a little over an hour from Madison).
There are no group transportation arrangements, so we would recommend having a vehicle to get to and from the wedding. There is ample free parking at the venue. However, if you would prefer not to rent a car, it is relatively easy and affordable to get around Madison via Uber/Lyft. If you would like to leave your car parked at the venue and Uber/Lyft home, you can pick up your car Sunday morning.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoor on the lakefront lawn, and the reception will be in a covered tent. Madison in August is typically very pleasant, with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s-80s. However, it can be quite humid. We recommend light, breathable summer clothing, staying hydrated, and using sun protection!
Formal attire is requested for the wedding ceremony and reception. Long dresses and suits are appropriate.
The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at the venue between 3:30pm and 3:45pm to provide enough time to park and be seated prior to the ceremony.
