Book a guided kayak tour on the south side of the island. You’ll kayak through protected, winding mangrove paths, snorkel through clear waters to look for stingrays, and hike the remote, uninhabited islet of Cas Cay to see tidal pools and a natural marine blowhole.

Take the Ferry to St. John: Only a 20-minute ferry ride from Red Hook (on the East End of St. Thomas), St. John is a must-do. About two-thirds of the island is a protected National Park. Grab an open-air safari taxi from the ferry dock and head straight to Trunk Bay to swim its famous underwater snorkeling trail, or Maho Bay to swim with wild sea turtles. End your afternoon shopping and drinking "Painkillers" in the charming town of Cruz Bay.
