The Crystal and Fantasy Caves are a natural wonder. Formed over millions of years, these not-to-be-missed caves feature stunning azure underground pools and incredible formations of every size and shape imaginable. The lush sub-tropical gardens, unique gift shop and popular café make a visit to Crystal and Fantasy Caves an adventure for the whole family. Reservations are recommended, but not necessary. Visit the Swizzle Inn
Taste the Rum Swizzle that started it all at the original Swizzle Inn, located in Bailey’s Bay. Bermuda’s oldest and most famous pub first opened in 1932 in a 17th-century roadhouse; it was here that Bermuda’s national drink was first concocted, using a potent mix of Gosling’s rum and fruit juices, shaken until frothy and strained into a cocktail glass. The Swizzle Inn is also a popular lunch and dinner spot, serving everything from burgers and pizzas to English classics like shepherd’s pie. Before you leave, stumble into the Swagger Out gift shop for keepsakes and Swizzle swag.
Explore the Royal Naval Dockyards
Explore Bermuda’s rich maritime history at the Royal Naval Dockyard. A lively port for cruise ships, this major attraction is home to artists, artisans and the Bermuda National Museum. A British Royal Navy stronghold for more than 150 years, this 19th-century fort once kept guard over the West End. Nearby, at the historic Clocktower Mall, you can shop local boutiques for jewellery, swimwear, crafts and more. Wander over to the Bermuda Arts Centre and meet local artists. There is an endless list of activities, from bike rentals, snorkelling cruises, miniature golf and deep-water dolphin encounters.
Go Whale Watching
March and April mark the peak months for humpback whale-watching season in Bermuda as they migrate north to feeding grounds in Canada, Greenland, and Iceland, and trust us, you don't want to miss it! Hit the water on a whale watching tour along the Atlantic, and bask in the thrill of anticipation, and the sheer awe as these majestic creatures breach the water’s surface as they play in their natural habitat. So, grab the binoculars and hop aboard!
Walk through downtown Hamilton
Step into the vibrant heart of Bermuda — the City of Hamilton. Uncover the secrets of this colourful capital with none other than Ed Christopher, the Town Crier who's been the voice of the City of Hamilton for nearly three decades. As one of Bermuda’s most renowned and knowledgeable local figures, he'll lead you on a free walking tour through the enchanting history of Hamilton. Visit Gibb's Hill Lighthouse
Climb the 185-step spiral staircase of Gibbs’ Hill Lighthouse to enjoy one of the best views on the island. The 117-foot lighthouse was built in 1846 of cast iron – the oldest of its kind in the world, and one of only two cast-iron lighthouses still in existence. It overlooks the South Shore and Little Sound, offering views of both the City of Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard.
