Yes! later in the evening taxis can be difficult to get, please prearrange any rides you might need late in the evening! After the reception on Saturday there will be transportation provided for guests not staying at Cambridge, a shuttle will be available offering rides to resorts and AirBnBs in the area! The shuttle will start at 11 pm, and last call for a ride will be 1 am. If you wish to leave the reception before 11 pm please do not forget to pre-arrange a taxi!
In Bermuda they use the Bermudian Dollar, American Dollars are also accepted most places. 1 Bermuda Dollar = 1 US Dollar While there are ATMs on the island, we recommend bringing cash with you!
Most taxis are cash only - you can pay in US or Bermudian Dollars. For reference, a taxi from Cambridge Beaches to Downtown Hamilton is approximately $40 per trip. They charge by trip, not per person.
Typically, a 17% tip is included in your bill at bars and restaurants, this would be indicated on the menu or your receipt. You do not need to tip on top of this!
We do not recommend guests rent cars, although rental cars are available the roads in Bermuda are narrow, winding, and difficult to navigate. Taxi's and rideshare services are readily available!
